Profit tax returns in Aruba only via digital portal
The Tax Department of Aruba recently announced that, beginning with the 2023 fiscal year, profit tax returns have to be prepared and submitted through each taxpayer’s dedicated BOi online portal.
If your profit tax return is prepared by Baker Tilly and you have not yet authorized us in your Boi portal please contact us so we can guide you on process, so that we can continue to prepare your profit tax return in a timely matter. The Tax Department also announced that companies that form part of a fiscal unity no longer have to submit nil tax returns starting from the 2023 fiscal year.
In addition, a general extension was provided for the filing of the 2023 (provisional) tax return through 1 July 2024 as the forms have only just been made available through the BOi portal. If you submit a provisional tax return by July 1st, the final tax return will be due no later than 2 December 2024.
